The quarterly e-journal Earth Science India is a not - for - profit website devoted to the development of Earth /Environmental Sciences of India. It provides a platform for scientists working for core of the Earth to its atmosphere to interact, communicate and share the informations, achievements and researches to their fellow scientists across the Globe. It also provides an opportunity to the students / common people to know more about the Planet Earth and to pose questions to the eminent Earth Scientists to quench their thirst of knowledge. The journal is being

Dr. Satish C. Tripathi obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geology from Vikram University, Ujjain, M.P., in 1982 and 1997. His main areas of work are Precambrian geology of Lower Himalaya and Central India and dinosaur fossil
bearing Cretaceous sequence of Narmada valley. He has carried out extensive field work in Central India and Extrapeninsular region. Dr. Tripathi also led an expedition in the higher reaches of Himachal Himalaya. He has about 32 research papers to his credit, in international and national journals. His biography also figured in Morquis Who's Who in the world (25 th edition). Dr. Tripathi is presently working with the Geological Survey of India and is Secretary, The Society of Earth Scientists(SES).

Prof. Debendra Kumar Nayak obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Geography, from Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi in 1983 and 1992 . Social Geography, Population Geography and Environmental Planning are his areas of research. He co-authored three books and published more than 38 research papers in international and national journals. Prof. Nayak successfully organised several seminars and conferences and widely travelled across the globe. He has supervised eight Doctoral thesis and undertaken five sponsored research projects. He is also a Member of Indian National Committee on IYPE. Dr. Nayak is Professor of Geography, North - Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya.
