Earth Science India

  Volume-3(I),January,2010

From Editor's Desk

‘Earth Science India’ is now entering into its third year. It is due to the guidance of seniors and support of the fellow earth scientists that we are successfully and steadily marching towards achieving the objective of bringing scientists of all the domains at a single platform. My personal gratitude and thanks to all those who are supporting this endeavour.

Nature is posing a tough challenge before earth scientists and society is looking towards us to unfold this mystery. Thus, we have double task before us- meticulous scientific study of the Earth system on one hand and appraising common man on the other so as human interference in this delicately balanced system may be minimized. It is also a wakeup call to commoner and once he takes pledge to save the planet, no further negotiations will be required.

May all join hands to save our ‘Mother Earth’ in this New Year and in years to come.

Happy New Year!
